AY’s Occupier Solutions Team acts for occupiers across the UK, managing a broad range of commercial property types. We combine experience and knowledge with innovation and creativity, handling national and international portfolios for a wide variety of clients.

Our aim is to achieve the highest quality service in all aspects of estates management ranging from portfolio and account strategy to day-to-day property management and supporting activities across technology and developing asset enhancing initiatives with our clients.

We are looking for an individual to join the team who ideally has some of strategic asset management at both a property and portfolio level, transaction management, day to day property management, regular client reporting and working with multiple service lines to ensure delivery of client expectations.

In addition, you will support on tenders / bids for multi-disciplinary estate management contracts.


Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Supporting Account Directors on business-as-usual delivery and taking the lead on specific projects as and when requested
  • Recognising opportunities to generate value / mitigate cost within diverse portfolios and having the drive to see opportunities to completion
  • Take a leading role in property specific and portfolio wide projects
  • Client reporting – ensure accurate reporting via agreed client templates and trackers. Attend and lead client meetings
  • Support financial budgeting for both client and internal fee targets
  • Transaction management – ensuring client requirements are met whilst managing international brokers
  • Close collaboration with other Avison Young service lines to ensure integrated client delivery
  • Any other duties which are considered appropriate
  • The above list summarises main responsibilities to be carried out in the role but is not exhaustive. The role is highly varied and draws upon a range of surveying and account management skills


Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • RICS qualified
  • Experience within a professional services environment and working with colleagues to deliver property solutions
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual with the ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision
  • Highly strategic, organised and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and client interfacing skills
  • Team player and adaptable to fast-paced and quickly changing environments and work priorities
  • Highly creative with ability to identify and solve problems efficiently
  • Strong IT skills and high attention to detail on Word and Excel
